Announcing the
Graduation/Year End Giving Opportunity
Sivan 5784 / June 2024

June, 2024

Dear Friends,

As the academic year draws to a close, I am reminded of the unique space we occupy in Jewish education. This year over 40 students were engaged with our programs as we learned for the sake of learning across our programs.

A few highlights include:

- Gemara with Rabbi Stein

- Mishna with Rabbi Chinn

- Yom Ha'Atzma'ut celebration

- Collaborative Art program with an international school

- Student Shakespeare performance at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre

Ashreinu provides educational opportunities for students in grades 1-12, using the proven methods of Maria Montessori, tailored for the Orthodox Jewish community.  From our Montessori Elementary through middle and high school, we focus on the full range of religious, academic, social and emotional preparation of each student.  Our children are respected for who they are, not expected to squeeze into a mold that isn’t right for them.  Ashreinu programs have been offering robust small group learning, with individualized curricula since 2013.  We encourage and expect students to take responsibility for their education, providing and developing the tools with which to achieve excellence in both religious and secular studies.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to access this individualized, child-centered education model. But we can't meet the need without your help. To donate electronically, donate through PayPal Giving Fund paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/1268720 or by Zelle (treasurer@ashreinueducation.org) to minimize fees. To donate by check, please make payable to Ashreinu School for Girls (our legal name) and mail to 1840 University Blvd West, Wheaton, MD  20902.  All donations (stock, PayPal, Zelle, check) are tax-deductible.

May we merit to fully fund needed scholarships and expand our programs.
