Announcing the
Light the Way to 2021
Chanukah / Year End
Matching Campaign

Dear Friends,

During these challenging times, we look to bring more light and hope into the world.  Our wonderful Ashreinu community continues to grow and, B"H, the Ashreinu Montessori programs are at capacity this year.  We are excited to announce that we are even poised to launch the Montessori Adolescent program this fall!

But these programs need your support.  Today we are asking for your generous donation as we expand to meet the needs of our community.

Tonight, the first night of Chanukah, we launch our Light the Way to 2021 Chanukah/Year End matching campaign.  Will you help us?

Our needs are greater than ever before.  Operating during a pandemic has been very challenging (and expensive), but we are grateful that our safety procedures and protocols have B"H been effective.  Our goal remains to provide a student-centered, high-quality education to any Jewish child regardless of need, and scholarships have not kept pace with the needs of our families.

And yet...

We have a wonderful community of supporters and a group of outstanding students who are excited and eager to learn every day.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, we have a $10,000 matching campaign.  From now through January 15th, your donation will be matched up to $10,000.

To donate electronically, donate through PayPal Giving Fund ( to through Zelle to minimize fees.

To donate by check, please make payable to Ashreinu School for Girls (our legal name) and mail to 9466 Georgia Avenue, Box 29, Silver Spring, MD  20910.  We are also able to accept stock and mutual fund donations.  Please contact our Treasurer for a donation receipt or for more details on stock and mutual fund donations.

All donations (stock, PayPal, Zelle, check) are tax-deductible and will be included toward the $10,000 matching grant.

Help us nurture the flame inside each student as we Light the Way to 2021.  Together we are making this dream a reality.

Thank you for your consideration and support!

All the best,

Steve Reid
